Camping trip for Labor day weekend

Sorry Sue and Dave, it took us a while to finally post those pictures, but here we go. The key event of the camping trip was of course the pot roast. "Grandpa Dave" was the amazing chef of that special dish which includes carefully layering corn, carrots, potatoes, chicken, clams, shrimp, cabbage into a large cast iron pot which gets boiled over the fire for 3 hours! Amazing. The Bowser Jr's actually spent the night at the Bowser property in the midst of the woods of Pennsylvania. Isabel had a blast! Enjoy the pictures (link below)

I am hungry! I can't wait for the fun to start!

"Ahem, Grandpa Dave, does this belong in there?"

The next layer. Now the shellfish is in, but we're still not done

The crazy kids atyed in the woods overnight!

Di you know that watermelon grows in the water, in the middle of pennsylvania?

Real Americans, eating real American food!

Who needs to dry their shoes and socks here? Izzy was trying to "harvest" the melon, with minor success.

Izzy does not want to go home after that fun weekend.

That's it, the deed is done. Perfect!
